The Full Story

In August 2020 I set up Dorset Forest Bathing as a place for conversation, information and events. I wanted to encourage a deep connection with nature for all people, in order to benefit emotional and physical wellbeing.

Having worked in the world of wildlife conservation for 10 years I have a love for, and confidence in leading people on nature connection activities, guiding wildlife walks and running a range of events. My background and experience means I approach forest bathing from a scientific base, appreciating the natural space as an ecosystem and presenting the facts around nature benefiting our physical health and emotional state.

I have a flexible and bespoke approach to each event and can tailor sessions to suit your location, group or requirements.

I am a fully trained International Forest Therapy Guide, and hold qualifications and training certificates in Outdoor First Aid, Mental Health First Aid and running Dementia Friendly events. I have recently completed a level 2 Counselling course.

Being a parent to young children I have a particular interest in perinatal mental health and support for new parents and the importance of garnering a close bond with nature right from birth.
